Are you Having Fun?

What do you do after being sequestered out of a job? Turn a hobby into a business!

After the budget battles of 2013 caused the contract I was working on to be cut, it was time I decided what I wanted to be when I grew up. Rather then waiting for the government to get its act back together I wanted to Have Fun. Then I remembered the quote from Mark Twain:

Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.

Having-Fun Collectibles is taking my love of history and the items that make up our history and bringing them to you. Why should it fill my basement when everyone could enjoy them! In the process I can meet people who also love these ties to our past.

Middle Atlantic StatesLocated in the mid-Atlantic region, there are a lot of places to pick from. I travel to the southern parts of Virginia, out to West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia looking for those unique collectibles that makes everyone smile. From estate sales, to auctions, to storage lockers, to being approached at shows, Having-Fun has been a go to place where sellers are treated fairly and buyers are given the opportunity to buy great collectibles at good prices.

We maintain a presence in Booth X-1 at the Antique Center in Historic Savage Mill in Savage, Maryland. It is just minutes off of I-95 at Exit 38A (MD32) between Washington and Baltimore. Having-Fun will also appear once per month at shows including D.C. Big Flea. And do not forget our eBay store. Soon, we will offer items for sale here on our own web site.

If you have a question, request, or a want list, feel free to contact us.
